About Molly Rose

Molly Rose is a young adult on the autism spectrum. Molly showed her art for the first time at the age of twelve at the Faulkner Gallery in Santa Barbara. Molly connects with others primarily through her love of art, music and humor. She first discovered her artistic expression as a young student at The Hollywood Schoolhouse and continues to study painting under the tutelage of local artist and teacher Myra Horwitz. When Molly isn’t painting, she enjoys music, yoga, exploring nature and travelling.

Molly’s previous gallery shows have included the Faulkner Gallery in Santa Barbara, CA, Bell Arts Gallery in Ventura, CA, MuzeuMM in Los Angeles, CA, Hidden Wings in Solvang, CA, Mychal’s Learning Place in Hawthorne CA, and Modernica Showroom in Los Angeles, CA. Her work is presently on display at Global Gardens in Los Olivos, CA, Bob’s Well Bread in  Ballard, CA and Full of Life Flatbread in Los Alamos, CA. Her paintings have been commissioned for special event wine labels by Ozymandias Wines in NY and Shokrian Wines in CA. Molly recently won first place in The Art of Autism’s contest for Women’s History Month.

Molly’s work belongs to private collectors in Japan, Italy, New Zealand, Boston, New York, South Carolina, Portland, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
